American Idol, the widely-loved music competition series hosted its grand finale at the iconic Dolby Theatre during its initial 2002 airing on Fox and thereafter in 2004 to 2007, followed by 2015 and 2016. Between 2016 and 2021, excluding 2020, the theatre showcased live performances from NBC's talent-based reality series America's Got Talent.
