William and Mary Tribe football is one of the oldest college programs in the US, having started in 1893.  The squad plays in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and is based at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.  The Tribe is known for their green and gold colours and has a long history of being good at both academics and sports.  In the early days of football, teams fought against competitors in their area and built a strong base in East Coast college sports.
