The group was led by D'wayne Wiggins, and brothers Raphael Saadiq and Abdul Rahman Qadir. Other members included Elijah Baker, Raymond-Joseph Pounds, and Carl Wheeler. The group's debut album, Who Are You?, was released in 1988 on Wing Records and peaked at number sixty-two on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's second single, "Little Walter", peaked at number sixty-eight on the Hot 100 chart. The group's second album, The Revival, was released in 1990 and peaked at number thirty-three on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "Feels Good", peaked at number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number five on the Hot 100 chart. In 1992, the group released its third album, House of Music. The album peaked at number seventeen on the Billboard 200 chart and produced the group's second number-one single on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, "It Never Rains (In Southern California)". Tony! Toni! Toné!'s fourth and final album, Soul Food, was released in 1995 and peaked at number twelve on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "Anniversary", peaked at number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number forty-three on the Hot 100 chart.
