The Head and the Heart is an American indie folk band. The group's self-titled debut album was released on April 26, 2011, and II was released on September 10, 2013. All the band members Charity Rose Tielen, Chris Zasche, Kenny Hensley, Tyler Wilson, Josiah Johnson, and Jonathan Russell met after a series of open mic nights in a pub in Seattle. On March 14, 2019, the band declared they would be releasing their fourth The Head and the Heart album entitled Living Mirage on May 17th along with their initial single "Missed Connection". On April 5, the band dropped their second single from their album - "Honeybee". Afterward, they unveiled a live stream performance on March 21 at The Belasco in Los Angeles! They announced it in conjunction with their single "Every Shade Of Blue" which was released on January 21, 2022, from their upcoming fifth studio album (also titled Every Shade Of Blue) due out April 2023 of that same year.
