Refused Tickets

Refused is a hardcore punk band with Dennis Lyxzén as the lead singer. The band started in Umeå, Sweden in 1991. Their early albums, such This Just Might Be... the Truth (1994), showed off their raw energy and politically charged lyrics. They created a dedicated fan base by playing small venues all around Europe. Their mix of DIY ethics and experimental sounds will change punk music for decades to come.

Refused's big break came with The Shape of Punk to Come (1998), which had famous songs like "New Noise." The record got great reviews and had an impact on punk and hardcore scenes all around the world. Their reunion tours in 2012–2013 and performances at festivals like Roskilde and Coachella only added to their status as one of the most creative punk bands ever.
